My favourite new artsist of 2009 (besides Julian Plenti) is without a doubt tUnE-yArDs. I cannot get enough. She's currently signed to 4AD and recently did a live session with them. Enjoy!

Dniwer Ximer, Vol. 2

I have this on-going remix project I call "Dniwer". I got into remixing after Gentleman Reg decided to start a remix competiton. Needless to say I didn't win the competition, but that didn't stop me from not making remixes. I recently created a second volume of my remixes entitled "Vol. 2". Clues/"You Have My Eyes Now"

Clues are a band from Montreal and are comprised of ex-members of such bands as The Unicorns and The Arcade Fire. Together they make alternative/noise/rocky music with lyrics that are chillingly genuine. I haven't heard any album as new and fresh as this one in a long time.

So Julian Plenti is the side project of Interpol's Paul Banks. The new record is incredibly refreshing and addictive. He has a new video for the song "Games For Days". It features Metric's Emily Haines as the leading lady! Enjoy

The Fiery Furnaces - We Have Signal

There's a show on PBS Atlanta called We Have Signal. I found out that The Fiery Furnaces were on an episode in 2007. Here's there concert below, it's pretty amazing. They have the coolest live shows as far as I'm concerned.

“Charmaine Champagne”

So The Fiery Furnaces are one of my favourite bands. They have a new video for a track off their new record and it's pretty amazing. The really cool (and really nice) Mike Reddy (whose done previous work for the band) did the artwork for it. Awesome band, awesome song, awesome video.
